1. Tesco Lotus- established in 1998, this hypermarket in the country replete with loads of groceries from local to western products and a wide selection of appliances, clothing and shoes. It also houses bakery shops, food courts and numerous stalls selling interesting items. 2. Central Plaza- this shopping mall nestles on Phahonyothin Road and was opened in 1982. It comprises of seven floors in which it houses international food restaurants dishing out delectable fares. 3. Siam Paragon- one of the biggest shopping centers in Asia that is situated in the bustling metropolis of Bangkok. It has a wide range of shops, restaurants, stalls and food courts. Siam Paragon also consists of state-of-the-art multiplex movie theaters in which of them has the massive seating capacity and largest screens in Asia. 4. MBK Center- a vast marble shopping complex that is also known as Mahboonkrong. It stretches with an area of 89, 000 square meters and used to be among the biggest malls throughout Asia. MBK Center was founded in 1985 and popularly known for its mobile phone shops, electronic and furniture stores. 5. The Emporium- located on Sukhumvit Road, The Emporium is a huge swanking shopping complex in the district of Khlong Tei in the bustling metropolis of Thailand. It opened its doors to public in 1997 that is operated by The Mall Group and other huge shopping center in Siam Paragon. 6. Robinson- one of the most frequented shopping destinations by local and foreign tourists as it houses upscale shops, food courts and good leisure amenities. Robinson was established in 1979 and has spread numerous branches in and outside Thailand. 7. Pantip Plaza- this indoor IT shopping complex in the country houses plethora of electronic, software and DVD items. Group of computer geeks and couch potatoes frequents it usually as it sells affordable items. 8. Gaysorn Plaza- if you are looking for contemporary and international brands of apparels, footwear and appliance, Gaysorn Plaza is the right destination. This luxurious shopping mall is situated in Bangkok. |
